Your next obsession- Never Say Never 💪🏾
Some days you’ll move mountains, other days you'll move from the bed to the couch. Both are necessary.
What does it mean to stay busy?
There’s something about the energy of hustle culture that can be completely exhausting. Competing with unknown humans for a place in the world, a name for yourself, a spot in your industry, or the gratification of likes and views equates to time that might feel busy…but is it fulfilling?
When I started this newsletter, the title ‘staying busy’ to me was beyond and away from hustle culture. If you’re busy with only things that bring you complete joy, are you really busy or just having fun all day indulging in things you love? That’s good busy, and the busy that this newsletter intends to champion.
Sometimes in the job search journey, there’s this ‘internal meanie’ that admonishes you for not being as productive, but engaging in activities that move you forward and feel good isn’t a bad thing. It’s healthy. It’s necessary.
So, let’s stay busy together- we’ll move the needle forward with job seeking stuff, but let’s aim to also fill time with healing, fun, joy, and laughter. Because at the end of the day, you deserve to feel holistically fulfilled.
